I g ot a job and found an apartment to live in , so it is time to pretend I’m an adult who knows what he’s doing. Next stop, Detroit. Side note, this newish E-350 has the same steering wheel as F ords from the 90s, no crui se control, and crank windows. I can’t imagine how cheap this thing is to “design” every year.

I reviewed one a few years ago.
I think I gave it a 30/100.

the only E-Series still made are the chassis-cab and cutaways; don’t really need to change it much from year to year. so long as upfitter bodies all still fit, everyone’s happy.

The Ford logo on the steering wheel is pretty much the only thing that’s changed on that wheel since the late 90's.
They work for what they’re intended to, so I don’t see the point in updating them very often.

something wrong with your picture...
I see it, the car is supposed to lead, not follow!

hopefully it doesnt have a governor on it. Last budget truck i drove was a diesel one and would not rev past 2500. Very dangerous to drive

It’s equipment, not a car anymore, and t hat’s why they disregard it entirely.
At least it is better than the garbage GM offers in the same market segment. They have a newer wheel, but it is positioned out of alignment with the driver’s seat. Everything about driving it will make you feel and become lopsided.

I once drove an E-350 passenger van from Philly to Niagara Falls and back. It got 18 MPG
on the highway, had a dead center on the steering wider than the Roosevelt Boulevard, and couldn’t track straight even if it ran
on rails. I did
the math, though, and with 18 passengers the trip came up to about $10 per person including tolls. Not bad for a living fossil.

What city did you pick?

Troy, seemed to have a good balance of lower rent, things to do, and a lower likely hood of my car stolen.

Come on bruh.
Well Troy is safe and a bit boring, but it’s close to a lot. I’m sure you’ll get out and see what’s around.
Be on the look out for rusty Jeeps.

Nice, I’m in Auburn Hills, myself. If you don’t mind me asking, where will you be working?
